Awe-inspiring Art Show by new batch Visual art students of Creative Multimedia College – Hyderabad

India’s leading Digital Media career catalyst, Creative Multimedia Group, acclaimed for its job-oriented Animation, VFX, Web and Graphic Design training, conducted the 2019 edition of its immensely popular annual art show at Ravindra Bharati-Hyderabad on January 21, 2019.

New batch Animation students of Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts (CMCFA) – Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad conducted the art show titled ‘THE WALT DISNEY RETROSPECTIVE’ as a befitting tribute to, and in fond remembrance of Walt Disney – the legendary entrepreneur and pioneer of Animation on the occasion of his 117th birth anniversary. Mr. Alan Phillips, President of VanArts – Vancouver, Canada graced the event as the Chief Guest and had many words of praise for CMCFA students.

The art show featuring 114 true-to-life illustrations showcased the artistic depth and creativity of students who created stunning artworks by experimenting with a range of interesting mediums including coffee on paper, graphite dust on ivory sheet, nails and wool on wood, pencil on corrugated board, etching on mirror, colour engraving on foil, plaster of Paris on cardboard, mixed media on glass and paper and glitter on paper and paper collage.

Students also used mixed media and such conventional mediums as soft pastel on paper, poster colour on paper, watercolour on paper, colour pencil on ivory sheet, charcoal pencil on paper, oil on canvas, acrylic on paper, crayons on mount board, and sketch pen on paper to craft true-to-life illustrations and artworks of Walt Disney.

Addressing the press on the occasion, the Chief Guest Mr. Alan said: “It’s inspiring to see students come up with such brilliant works of art by exploring a variety of creative mediums. This reflects their passion for the craft. It gives me great joy to note that these budding animation artists of Creative Multimedia have captured the essence of Walt Disney through these wonderful exhibits.

Animation Students of ‘Creative Multimedia – Hyderabad’ showcase their drawing skills with an impressive art show

Creative Multimedia Group – India’s driving Digital Media career catalyst, acclaimed for its activity situated Animation, VFX, Web, and Graphic Design preparing, led the 2018 edition of its immensely held the art show at Hyderabad from 31 May to 2 June. The art show indicate is an intentional activity went for giving a stage to Animation and Applied Art understudies to sharpen and exhibit their illustration abilities while upholding an honorable motivation. The current year’s art indicates ‘Mahanati – The Retrospective’ — a tribute to South India’s first female superstar and incredible performer ‘Savitri’ was propelled by the runaway accomplishment of her biopic ‘Mahanati’ which opened to a splendid reaction at theaters over the globe in May 2018.

Nag Ashwin, director of the film ‘Mahanati’ and the film’s maker Priyanka Dutt were welcomed as boss visitors to the occasion. S.N. Vikas, Director Academics and Planning of JNAFAU, graced the occasion as the visitor of respect.

Over 70 true-to-life portraits of ‘Mahanati Savitri’ created by first-year students of Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts (CMFCA) were on display at the gallery. CMCFA is part of the Creative Multimedia Group at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. The exemplary drawing skills of students were evident as they passionately explored a range of traditional and contemporary art forms. Deploying varied media to create realistic portraits of the thespian Savitri, students splashed the gallery walls with abstract art, photorealistic paintings, pen and ink sketch, chalk work, Thermo cool-carved 3D relief work, collage work, bindi-work, crushed foil with glass painting overlay, paper-quilling work, and post-impressionism style drawings inspired by the most influential figure of western art ‘Vincent Van Gogh’. The portraits on display at the gallery are up for sale and the entire proceeds will benefit the needy members of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), Hyderabad.
